...so, been a while, probably take a while for peeps to remember me, but I thought it was time for my "once in a blue-moon, I'm still alive" journal.
...aaannd nothing's really changed, except that I'm between jobs (which has nothing to do with the no interwebz situation...honest), which sucks hardcore..... which means I'm unemployed, uninspired, and a little unhappy too, but life's being good and will probably take a good turn soon 
...oh crap, I've become an optimist 
but happy committed relationships have that effect 
anyway, best be off, those applications won't ignore themselves!

Name: Starkk Grijam ("gri-am")
Other Names & Titles: "Sparkky", "Chain-Charmer"
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 220lbs
Appearance: His height and relatively slim build belie his weight, which are both innaccurate to to the numerous chains on his body (some connected to him). He has short dark blue hair, which tends to be messy, yet clean. Wears long thick boots, dark grey pants, a navy blue half-robe coming down from his waist to his ankles on the left, a long grey jacket with blue trim and a light grey sleeveless long-neck shirt with bandaging around his lower arms. Chains are bounds around his body, under his clothes and when they are fully extended they can be seen embedded into Starrk's flesh.
History: A highly intelligent and outstanding, he simply lacks motivation. The only thing that grabs his attention is mention of lightning dragons, as he wishes to obtain the lightning dragon slayer magic. Possessed of an affinity for elecrticity since a young age, often jamming things into power sockets. His parents were high achievers and pushed him to make the most of his skills, but he never bothered to do anything. Sick of his laziness and irritation that their only child would be a failure, they kicked him out of home at 13, hoping it would force him to change. He lives on his own and can cook n clean very well, when he bothers to make a mess, as a result, despite his laziness his house is very clean. He doesn't usually have girlfriends for long as although they find him nice to talk to, easy to get along with and very clean they tend to get sick of him forgetting their birthdays or being lazy, and dump him before long. His life wasn't spectacular, epic or mysterious and is glad of it, saying "I'm glad I don't have some lame-ass melodramatic history", though he silently wishes it had been a bit more. Does have a few somewhat "traumatic" memories but he doesn't talk about them and doesn't feel they affect who he is (despite the fact they're part of the reason he sleep with open eyes, in hard to reach places and cannot cry). Long for a purpose and spends most of his time falling asleep whilst contemplating his life, abilities and future, which is usually fruitless.

Complains when forced to do things, and complains of boredom alot too. Scowls alot, but thats just his bored expression. Smiles on rare occasions, usually when talking to cute girls or when theres easy money to be made. He's bluntly honest, telling people what he thinks without thought of the consequences, usually getting slapped by cute girls (another reason he's usually single), though he's never really bothered, by that or anything really. OMFG
so, when I first got into guitar hero, I absolutely loved GHIII, it's songlist is just about the best out of all of the guitar hero games, not to mention the actually gameplay and information even the way the give the information just rocks!
So gorgeous
Anyway, I'd half given up on obtaining a copy of the game as they had stopped making, so, I went and ordered in a Queens Of The Stone Age album (Era Vulgaris) that has two songs that appear on guitar, namely "3's & 7's" which is on, you guessed it, GHIII. When it finally comes in, I'm somewhat ecstatic, later on, on the day I collect it, I happen upon my local games store and decided to ask if they had a copy of GHIII for Wii...
I nearly fainted when they said they had one pre-owned copy out back. Nearly fainted again for a completely different reason when the price tag was 30c more than I had on me. So I just robbed my little brother for it, he didn't mind much
As soon as I got home, I played half the album before I couldn't resist waiting to play my new guitar hero game. Played until my muscles ached and my skin had that stinging "if you don't stop your going to get a blister" sensation.
I slept with a big grin on my gace that night
In other news, I'm going to get stuck back into my fiction writing, I've decided that's where my true calling passion and talent lies.

I was up late last night, browsing through my poetry, when I slowly realised that for someone who has never had any lessons on how to write poetry or anything even close, I am an amazing poet...
which is wierd, 'cause I usually do the angsty "I'm good at nothing, I'm average at best" low self-esteem crap, which is ironically where I get the drive to write a majority of my poetry... But either way, it made me feel better, not that I was feeling particularly down or anything, I just felt better. I guess all my close friends telling me "Wow, you're really great at this!" was more than just obligatory praise after all...
Anyway, if anyone ever feels down about themselves or their abilities in any given field, chances are you're better than you're giving yourself credit for; just trying in itself is commendable, so have heart and have faith in yourself, and hopefully others do to
also, if anyone wants me to try writing a poem for them, I'm very happy to, just tell me the topic and theme/emotion and maybe some specific words to use and I'll do my best!
